Content and Editing Licensing Policy
This is the standard video and usage rights for products produced by CCC Drone Photography, unless otherwise stated in your project agreement.
Ownership:
CCC Drone Photography retains copyrights to all captured media and holds the rights to media submitted by the customer for incorporation into any editing project performed by CCC Drone Photography to be used by CCC Drone Photography for advertising and promotional purposes performed by and for CCC Drone Photography unless otherwise agreed upon in writing by both parties.
Customer License:
Customers are granted a non-exclusive license to use content produced by CCC Drone Photography for business/marketing purposes that are connected to each project. Exclusive or extended licensing may be obtained at an extra charge.
Restrictions:
Customers of CCC Drone Photography are prohibited from resale, sublicense or transfer to third parties without written approval and/or extended license are purchased. Any project edits that misrepresent the work of CCC Drone Photography are strictly prohibited.
Use of project:
No license will be granted until project payment has been paid in full to CCC Drone Photography, unless a written agreement states otherwise.
Customer Responsibility:
It is the sole responsibility of the Customer to obtain required permissions/releases in writing for people, venues, private property, schools and events where needed. And any third-party materials provided by the customer (i.e.: logos, music or any other material the customer requested to be incorporated in the edited videos/photos). Customers will also be required to use copyright mention to certain music or logo content used by CCC Drone Photography for the editing purpose of each project.
Special Request:
Turn around time for editing is normally one to two weeks, depending on the project. An additional fee of $200.00 will be added for all rush jobs and will be required to be paid before the project has started unless otherwise agreed upon prior to the start date of that project.
Flight:
CCC Drone Photography pilots hold a Part 107 Unmanned Air Certificate through the FAA and a TRUST Certificate. Therefore, we follow all FAA regulations, requirements and recommendations. (i.e.: altitude, flight restricted areas, weather, etc.) If the project is in a flight restricted area, CCC Drone Photography will request permission through the FAA. If the FAA declines the request, the project will be canceled.
